For programs

Your residents are already writing this down. Give it one roster.

Vemri is a personal case log first. When a program joins, its residents' cases line up against the same attendings and sites, and what they choose to share shows up in one feed.

1One roster

Every “Dr. Smith” is the same Dr. Smith.

Program admins keep the list of attendings and sites. Residents pick from it when they add a case, and suggest anyone missing for approval. Old free-text names are matched for you.

  • Invite links, or residents ask to join and an admin approves
  • Missing attendings are suggested by residents and approved by an admin
The Case Log: cases with their attending and site.
2One feed

What one resident learns, the next one can find.

Residents can share a pearl or a whole technique with the program. It lands in the feed sorted by attending, so the intern on next month's rotation can see how this attending likes it done.

  • Sharing is one item at a time, always the resident's choice
  • Procedure-level only, never anything about a patient
Feed: the program's pearls and shared techniques, by attending.
For attendings

See the plan before the case.

A resident sends you their pre-op plan from Vemri. You open it from the email on your phone, with no account and nothing to install, and leave a comment under the step you'd change. They see that you read it and what you said before they scrub.

It takes a minute, and it tells you whether they know the case before you're standing across the table.

Attending review on a plan: emailed, viewed, reviewed, with comments under each section.
What a program doesn't get

No dashboards over your residents.

Each resident's case log belongs to them. A program sees the roster and what residents share, and nothing else. That's deliberate: residents write honestly in a log they know is theirs.

No reading residents' logs

Admins manage people and the roster. They can't open anyone's cases, notes or playbooks.

No patient data, anywhere

Vemri is procedure-level by design and isn't a HIPAA business associate. Images are de-identified on the resident's computer.

Something to hand GME

The security page explains the architecture in plain language, written to be forwarded.

Bring Vemri to your program

Start with a few residents.

Leave an email and we'll set your program up, roster and all. Or write to the founder directly.

We recommend a personal email: your case log stays with you after residency. One email when your invite is ready, nothing else.
